Our Biel centre is near Zentralplatz (next to Manor) and congress centre and can be reached on foot or public transportation from Biel railway station within a few minutes. A large team of experienced general dentists is waiting here for you. In the dental centre, you can receive emergency treatment or make appointments as a regular patient. Periodontitis or gum disease is a bacterial inflammation of the tooth support system (periodontium), which often is caused by plaque. Initial periodontitis symptoms are inflammation and bleeding of the gums. It can also be that pus forms, which is often accompanied by bad breath and a bad taste in the mouth. To prevent periodontitis, our dentists recommend brushing the teeth thoroughly at least twice a day. If the inflammation is already advanced, you can have the periodontitis treated in the dental centre Biel by means of a professional teeth cleaning session. Depending on the degree of severity, this is performed by the dental hygienist or the periodontology dentist him/herself.
